Star Wars:
Smuggler's Guide

DESCRIPTION:
Smuggler's Guide takes place in the Star Wars universe over six hundred years. The conceit of the book is that it was passed between various ship captains, pirates, crime bosses, thieves, and yes, smugglers. This made my primary job to make each section in the book feel like a unique voice while still keeping the book cohesive aesthetically.

We spared no expense on this epic Star Wars tome. For the case slip, I made the title in foil, and the accompanying line work was a blind spot gloss varnish.
The book was done with 2 separate spot deboss treatments. One for the Millennium Falcon's linework, and another to show "damage" to the book cover.
Above and below: a sampling of the many paper removables that came in addition to the book. These flesh out the original story and help immerse the reader in this little pocket of Star Wars lore.
The uber-talented Todd Rider designed the  incredible case everything came in. It's a beauty.
