DESCRIPTION:
Horrified: American Monsters is the second in the series where players work cooperatively to vanquish a pre-determined set of monsters. My idea behind his was a sort of Twin Peaks meets the X-Files look. We came up with a theoretical agency called the FBPI (Federal Bureau of Paranormal Investigation), and I ran with that as a throughline for all the componentry. I wanted you to feel that immersion in every aspect: file folders for the monsters, notepad pages for the heroes, cards laid out to look like official government agency paperwork, etc.
